Sam, with his upbeat personality is sought after as a solo artist, popular with his audiences for his repertoire of light jazz, soft rock,   funk, and gospel.  A look thru history .

At age 6, the youngest of his siblings, Daniel, David and Connie ,played in a band that was started by their parents, Doc and Mary Lou. They called themselves, "The 4 Generations " .

Currently, Sam plays music throughout north   Iowa with “NovaJazz,” a jazz group playing straight ahead jazz .   Also other jazz  groups on the fly  and off the cuff . And the rock`n roll, country, jazz combo   "Island Fever ”   great dance music for parties, weddings, receptions, all occasions.  

Sam is a member of the Piano Technicians Guild, the world's premier source of expertise in piano service and technology. 

The Piano Technicians Guild's mission is to promote the highest possible standards of piano service by providing members with opportunities for professional development. It recognizes technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members. 

Sam is currently  secretary of the Piano Technicians Guild Chapter   WisMinnIa #551  Covering  western Wisconsin , southern   Minnesota , and  north central Iowa . Also  a student of the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology.
